The Problem

Society expects you to work your entire life, but the economy considers you more and more redundant.

Employees who lose their jobs in the second half of their career have an increasingly difficult time finding and keeping new employment. Senior workers are likely to qualify for higher unemployment benefits over a longer period of time. They cost more money to support.

Instead of being paid by the economy, this segment of the workforce represents a growing financial burden, which is aggravated by longer life expectancy. 

The result is the unemployment office has to pay higher benefits longer.

Our Mission

Our goal is to support 1’000 unemployed individuals each year as they recover from their unemployment-related setback, become self-sufficient, and cross the bridge to their future, so they can leave the RAV sooner.

Our graduates become once again the captain of their own boat. They take the rudder and can face reality. They recognize possibilities and seize opportunities. We teach them how to lead a life of choice and fulfillment as a confident and contributing member of society, regardless of age or origin.
