How to Claim PDU’s for a Saat-Network Course

The Project Management Institute has an excellent system for encouraging its members to continue their professional development. The key is accumulating “PDU’s” or Personal Development Units, which you can do by continuing education, self-directed learning, contributing to the community, extending the body of knowledge, etc. (For more information on how and when you can claim PDUs, see the PMI’s CCRS User Guide)

If you take a course with us, you can claim PDUs for the time spent in our courses. You’ll need the following information to make your claim with the PMI:

• What is the course number — This is shown on your registration confirmation in the title of class and email correspondence, and is of the form YYMMDD-ABC, where the first part identifies the start date of the course, and the second part identifies the course. For example: 211018P-PAS or 211202-CS2.
• What Category PDU may I claim — Category B “Continuing education”
• How many PDU’s —  This depends on the number of contact hours and is printed on your Certificate of Participation. 1 PDU = 1 contact hour.
• What type of PDUs should I claim?
  • For CSM and CSPO courses, we recommend splitting evenly between Technical, Leadership, and Strategic
    
  • For Personal Agility Workshops, we also recommend splitting evenly between Technical, Leadership, and Strategic
• What is the Provider Name of the course? Saat Network GmbH, 6300, Zug, Switzerland. Saat Network is not a partner company of the PMI, but rather a third-party provider.
