What is the problem with too many meetings? Time is money, and I believe most companies have huge potential to up their power without additional cost.

If you have 100 people, roughly 1 in 5 manage, that is 20 people lead, enable, coordinate, and control. The rest do the work of the company… Or, they attend meetings. According to a study published on Bloomberg (and largely confirmed by my own surveys), a typical knowledge worker spends 18 out of 40 hours (45%) in meetings. Therefore 36 FTE are in a meeting, and 44 (out of total of 100!) FTE are doing the work the of the company.
